• Calorie, macro, and quality score data derived from your logged meals

• Weight check-ins you manually enter
• Activity/calorie burn data, if you connect Apple Health or a wearable deviceUsage Information
We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, including app interactions, device type, operating system, and crash/diagnostic data.Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid tier, payment is processed by Apple, Google, or our payment processor (RevenueCat/Stripe). We do not directly store your full payment card details.Coach/Trainer Data (if applicable)

• Monitor and improve app performance and securityWe do not sell your personal information to third parties.3. Health Data Specific DisclosuresCalScore is a nutrition and wellness tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Scores, estimates, and trends shown in the app (including calorie burn estimates and Metabolic Trend Estimates) are informational only and should not replace guidance from a qualified healthcare professional.If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact emergency services or a healthcare provider directly.4. Third-Party ServicesWe work with the following categories of third-party service providers to operate CalScore:
• Food recognition and nutrition data providers (e.g., TastyAPI, Chomp API) — to analyze food photos and barcode scans and return nutrition estimates
• Subscription and payment processing (e.g., RevenueCat, Apple, Google, Stripe)
• Health and fitness data integration (e.g., Apple Health), only if you choose to connect it
• Backend infrastructure and data storage (e.g., Supabase)These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are contractually or by policy restricted from using your data for their own purposes beyond what's needed to provide their service to us.5. How We Share Your InformationWe may share your information:
• With the third-party service providers listed above, as needed to operate the Service
• With a connected coach/trainer, if you opt into the Coach Dashboard feature
• With other users, only to the extent you choose to participate in social features (e.g., your display name and score visible on a friend leaderboard)
• If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CalScore, our users, or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections6. Your Choices and Rights• Access and correction: You can view and edit most of your logged data directly in the app.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at [email protected]. We will delete your data except where retention is required by law.
• Disconnecting integrations: You can disconnect Apple Health or a coach connection at any time in Settings.
• Marketing communications: You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, or state health-data privacy laws), including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.7. Data RetentionWe retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or security purposes.8. Data SecurityWe use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.9.
